The Municipal Administration of Viana will launch tomorrow, November 21, at 7 am, at the Ana Paula Health Centre, the Launch of the Intensification Campaign against Measles.
The campaign that aims to immunize children from 6 months to 5 years old, runs from November 21st to December 4th, throughout the municipality.
The launch of the campaign, which aims to block the disease so that it does not reach alarming proportions, will be chaired by the Municipal Administrator of Viana, Demétrio de Sepúlveda.
In this campaign, according to a communiqué from that municipal administration, several health professionals and Adecos will participate, who will go door-to-door, working towards having all children vaccinated and immunized.
The work of intensifying and blocking Measles at local level, which will rely on mobile teams that will mobilize and vaccinate children in the communities, will also be extended to health units, where there are already fixed vaccination posts.
