Different from what was foreseen, Nagrelha’s burial was forced to be carried out in a hurry, due to the vandalism that occurred, both in the route of the funeral procession, and outside the Santa Ana cemetery, when the body was already inside the Campo Santo.
The burning of tires, confusion on the part of rival groups outside the Santa Ana cemetery, even led to the hasty withdrawal of Weza, Nagrelha’s wife, and the musician’s Mendes family, who, guided by the Police, fearing the worst , could not watch until the end the descent from earth to the tomb of Nagrelha.
The scenario deserved condemnation from several citizens, as well as from musicians, as is the case of Bruno King, who, still inside the cemetery, condemned the acts carried out by the fans of Musician Nagrelha.
