The Minister of Finance, Vera Daves de Sousa, swore in today, 29 September, in Luanda, the new managers, recently appointed, for management and leadership functions at MINFIN.
In a note to which Kianda’s mail had access, the Ministry of Finance makes it known that the new appointments have to do with the context of a process of moving staff with a view to improving the performance of the sector.
In this sense, the new National Director of the Treasury is Marlon Roberto Varela de Lima, and Rafael Lopes Carquejo is the new National Director of Public Investment.
Manuel António Freire became Director of the Legal Office and Hermenegildo Kosi took over as Director of the Human Resources Office.
Polonga Guimarães also took office as the new Director of the Cabinet of the Minister of Finance and Maria Carlota Van-dúnem is the new Secretary General of this ministerial department.
Another yes Adilson Sequeira, Cláudia Pinto and Saidy dos Santos Fernando were sworn in as Consultants to the Minister of Finance.
Sónia Guilherme was also sworn in as the new National Director of State Heritage, Lígia Vunge Director-General of the National Service for Public Procurement (SNCP) Osvaldo Ngoloimwe, deputy director of the National Service for Public Procurement and Júlia Silva becomes the deputy director of Public Debt Management Unit.
The Directors of the Offices of Secretaries of State, their consultants and some Heads of Department were also sworn in.
On the occasion, Vera Daves de Sousa addressed the sworn in to thank them for their availability, while asking for their commitment, spirit of service and ability to work as a team, in favor of a better performance of Public Finances.
“We have the right to privacy, but we must have common sense and be available to support and anticipate solutions. I appeal to the responsibility and integrity of each one of you to live proudly of your work. So, I ask you to sleep and wake up always thinking about ways to capitalize on the activity of this ministry, with a spirit of mission to help Angola grow”, he appealed.
It is recalled that Ottoniel dos Santos and Juciene Cristiano de Sousa are the Secretaries of State for Finance and Treasury and for Budget and Public Investment respectively.
